Following on from the huge success of last year’s competition, Cadbury are again offering the chance for trail participants to design their own Egghead – the winning entry may even be made and available on shelves for Easter 2011!

Full Terms and Conditions
Open to all UK residents except employees and their immediate families of Cadbury UK (the “Promoter”), its affiliated companies, their agents or anyone professionally connected with this competition.
By entering this competition, all entrants will be deemed to have:
Accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions; and
Consented to their entry and the personal information collected from them in connection with this competition being held by the Promoter for the purposes of this competition other marketing or promotional materials deemed suitable to the entrant. We only want to contact you if you would like to hear from us, so please tick the appropriate boxes on the entry form if you DO want to receive exciting news, offers and competitions from Cadbury.
No purchase necessary. To enter this competition each entrant must submit a completed entry form, with completed Egghead design on the given template to: Design Your Own Egghead Competition, Promotional Handling, PO Box 6914, London, W1A 1FN to arrive no later than 11/05/10.
Any entries submitted by persons under the age of 18 must have an accompanying parent’s signature on their entry form.
The closing date for receipt of entries is 11/05/10.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete or illegible entries. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed entries.
Entries are restricted to one entry per person.
Photocopied entries not accepted. No bulk, third party or consumer group entries will be accepted.
Valid entries received by 11/05/10 will then be judged between 11/05/10 and 22/05/10 on their completed Egghead design by an independent panel who will determine the grand prize winner and 4 runners-up of the competition based on the following criteria;
Originality and creativity
Adherence to the style of existing Egghead designs
Overall appeal and popularity. The grand prize winner and the runners-up will be notified in writing by no later than 29/05/10.
There is 1 grand prize to be won, consisting of:
2x adult tickets and 2x child tickets for a day at Cadbury World followed by time spent with a Cadbury packaging designer
A hamper of chocolate to arrive with the tickets outlined in point 10(i)
The design as agreed in point 10(i) printed on Cadbury Egghead foils
One of the first productions of the Cadbury Egghead with the winning design. No accommodation, travel costs or other expenses are included.
If the grand prize winner is under the age of 18, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at any subsequent prize or promotional activities taking place as a result of their being a grand prize winner.
By submitting a design and in consideration of being awarded the associated prize, the grand prize winner:
Warrants and represents that he/she owns all rights to the design, and that the design:
Is original to him/her and has been legally obtained and created
Does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party, or violate applicable laws, regulations, or network standards; and
Has not been published previously in any medium; and
rants Cadbury UK and Cadbury Ireland an exclusive, transferable, royalty free and perpetual right to re-produce the design, or an amended design; the final design approval is to be solely at the discretion of Cadbury UK, on a Cadbury Egghead foils and offer such Cadbury Eggheads using the design for sale; and c. agrees to indemnify and hold Cadbury UK harmless from any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs and liabilities, brought or asserted by any third party against Cadbury UK due to or arising out of Cadbury UK’s use of his/her design pursuant to these competition terms and conditions, including but not limited to any such claims, damages, expenses, costs and liabilities relating to trade mark, copyright, or other intellectual property rights, right of publicity, right of privacy or defamation. Cadbury UK shall have sole discretion as to the production numbers and distribution of any product incorporating any winning design.
The grand prize winner may also be required, and by entering this competition all entrants agree, to take part in associated publicity which may include a photo-shoot to be carried out at an agreed date to be published within National or Local Press (cover date to be confirmed).
There are 4 runners-up prizes of 2x adult and 2x child tickets to Cadbury World to be won. There will be one runner-up selected from each of the following regions; England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Tickets entitle free admission to Cadbury World on the same day. Runners up will also receive a hamper of chocolate with the tickets. No accommodation, travel costs or other expenses are included. Runners-up prizes will be sent to runners-up at the address inserted in their competition entry form by no later than 26/05/10.
All prizes must be claimed by 19/06/10 All reasonable effort will be made to contact the grand prize winner and 4 runners-up, however, if the prizes are not claimed by 19/06/10, an alternative grand prize winner and/or runners-up will be selected if there is sufficient time remaining.
The grand prize and runner-up prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. The decisions of the Promoter are final.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to provide alternative prizes of equal or greater value.
Proof of postage is not proof of receipt.
The competition judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The name and county of the grand prize winners and runners-up will be available from 26/06/10 to 31/07/10 to those enclosing a stamped SAE to: Cadbury Winners & Runners Up, Design Your Own Egghead 2010, Promotional Handling, PO Box 6914, London, W1A 1FN.
Any personal data relating to participants will be solely used in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s prior consent.
In this instance, personal details are used for the purposes of awarding the competition prize(s) only and will not be released to any third party for mailing or marketing purposes unless stated via not checking the appropriate tick boxes on the entry form as detailed in point 2.
Anybody taking part in this promotion do so at their own risk. Cadbury are not liable for any damage caused to persons or properties whilst taking part in the promotion.
